Sparking Innovation at Triple S

As the leading insurance provider in the Caribbean, Triple S (The local Blue Shield affiliate) is always looking for ways to optimize its internal processes to enhance both service and revenue. To achieve this, they turned to their most valuable resource—employees—for fresh ideas on improving company operations.

I was tasked with creating an incentive program designed to encourage all employees, even the most reserved, to feel confident, excited, and empowered to share their ideas and initiatives. The first step was to develop a name that would be both welcoming and reflective of the program’s core mission of innovation. Drawing inspiration from Archimedes’ famous “Eureka!”—the moment of discovery—I chose this name to symbolize the instant when a brilliant idea is born.

To complement this, I designed a logo that captured the essence of enthusiasm and creativity. The letter “K” was transformed into an animated human figure, symbolizing the moment of realization, with a small head and three bursts radiating outward, reminiscent of the Triple S logo.

A key element of the promotional campaign was a poster series featuring a disembodied brain—an object that symbolized the need to engage the mind in new, purposeful ways. The image was paired with a bold, single-word headline in Spanish, urging employees to “use” their brains towards develop groundbreaking ideas that would drive the company forward.
