Guaynabo City Waterfront

Guaynabo City Waterfront
The City of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, is developing a neglected bay-side neighborhood into a multi-use development that will include a boardwalk, hotel, shops, restaurants and housing developments, all with direct ferry access to Old San Juan.
Tasked with implementing an identity for this project known as the Guaynabo City Waterfront, I started by crafting a colorful logo that is inviting, sophisticated and describes the spirit of this ambitious development.
Its design is based on sun and surf. It is a radiating star whose shape mirrors the water surface with blue and aqua colors to reflect the sector’s maritime vibe.
